SharePoint Online Provisioner Release Notes

- Improved support for attachments with extensions longer than 128 characters in the file name, causing the error "Length cannot be less than zero" during import (example : file.abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz).
- Added the number of warnings in the log file.
Changes also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, v17.21.

- Fixed a bug related to the transformation of the type of fields via the mapping file.

- Added prefix and suffix "_" on the encoding of special characters when calculating internal field names.
- Recursive upload of PICTURES subfolders to the resource library.
- New command line option in mapping file generation mode: "-selectAllFields" (see USAGE text file for the description of this option).
- Extra space removed in the "Launched by" log line.
The first 2 changes also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, v17.20.

- Optimization of some server calls in order to reduce their number and thus improve the processing time.

- Fixed a bug to apply correctly the internal name of column(s) of type taxonomy.

- Improvement of the taxonomy import in multilevel. When the TaxoMultiLevel parameter is defined in the mapping file, the pre-creation of values in the term set is no longer performed.
On the other hand, if TaxoMultiLevel is empty, we perform the pre-creation of choices, as before (and only if the field was set as Choice before its remapping in Taxonomy).
Modification also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, v17.19.

- Fixed a bug to import several columns of type 'Lookup' for the same list or document library.
- Correction to avoid the error "The object reference is not defined to an instance of an object" when transforming a column from Text into a Note.

- Support of multi-level taxonomy. The mapping file must absolutely declare the field as: "<FieldType>Taxonomy</FieldType>" and define the levels using "<TaxoMultiLevel>Notesfield1/Notesfield2</TaxoMultiLevel>"
Modification also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, v17.18.

- Support for managed metadata columns. The mapping file must absolutely declare the field as: "<FieldType>Taxonomy</FieldType>".
- Log file improvements, added field type. Example: Processing field: 'Creator' (type: 'Text').
- Fixed a bug for the support of the 'Lookup' type.
- When 'empty list' option is enabled via mapping file (<EmptyList>true</EmptyList>), we add "Emptying list..." in the log file.
The last 2 changes also changed in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, version v17.17.

- Improved to avoid error 429 "Too many requests", added a 'UserAgent' to each request. According to the following article from Microsoft, this should help to avoid throttling:

- Improvements to the log file.
- If the 'Limit' option is set to "0", it no longer imports all items (nothing is imported).
- Improvement of SPCustomDesign import parameters: support of the {ResourcesFolderURL} tag.
Changes also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, v17.16.

- Support for the TLS 1.2 protocol that Microsoft is increasingly imposing.

- Adding the import of the COMMON\SPCustomDesign folder in the resources of the destination site.
- Injection of Web parts of script according to the contents found in the SPCustomDesign folder.
- New parameter to generate a default mapping file -generatemapfile.
- In DocSets mode, and if the mapping file setting indicates it (value of ApplyToIndividualFiles for each field), a field is carried by the file and not by the document set.
- In all modes: the clickable title value (FillTitleWithField value of the list in the mapping file) can be a text field, or <Subject>, or <NoteID>, or <DocumentKey>.
Above Changes also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, version v17.15.
- If a date field is empty, we no longer show an error in the log file. Change also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem v17.12.

- Added the import of the COMMON folder in the destination site's resources (as for the PICTURES and PICTURES\RESOURCES folders). Modification also made in SharePoint Provisioner On-Prem, v17.8.

- SharePoint Online Provisioner allows importing to a SharePoint OnPrem as well via NTLM authentication support. New parameter -env which allows to target an online or onprem environment.

- Support for multi-factor authentication (MFA).

- Fixed a bug when importing attachments with the same name, automatic renaming from the 2nd file.

- Creation of an XML File called Cooperteam.SPOnlineProvisioner.exe.config to allow SPO Provisioner to be launched from a SharePoint server, forcing the use of the DLLs embedded in the solution (and not Microsoft.SharePoint.Client potentially present on the SP server which would be lower than version 16.1).
- The mapping file becomes optional (v1.4).
- Correction for the import of images in rich fields (v1.3).
- Correction of the log file displaying warnings for attachments (v1.2).
- Rename of the executable to Cooperteam.SPOnlineProvisioner.exe (v1.1).
- Icon of the executable modified to apply the Cooperteam logo (v1.1).

- 1st version of SharePoint Online Provisioner containing the same features as SharePoint Provisioner, with the following differences:

• The mapping file must be prepared in advance (mandatory file).
• No QuickR import support
