The list of actions that may be performed on the various components of the client desktop Notes installation is detailed below. Actions are grouped according to the object being processed (Notes.ini, Cache.ndk, Notes databases,etc.). This layout is a way to immediately enhance the actions that may be executed on an object type. For certain objects, some actions may be grouped in a more generic category (in order to know if the Log.nsf database may be compacted, see possible actions on Notes databases rather than the Log.nsf object grouping Log-specific actions).

As the Desktop Manager application features include both Audit and Modification of client desktop components, each action's operating mode (Audit or modification) is specified. For the latter one, it will be mentioned if the modification is made via Tasks (Task), Profiles (Profile) or LotusScript Agents (Script).

Hardware and software environment
