Customer's question :
From Desktop Manager 2.7, Task & Profile configured for an user on DskMgr.nsf will be pushed to DskMgrStart.nsf on user's local machine and execute from there. If it is correct, why do we need to sign the DskMgr.nsf DB with the ID ?
Answer :
While the DskMgrStart.nsf database is not a replica of DskMgr.nsf, it DOES receive task, profile items (and others), and any updated Lotusscript objects/libraries from the DskMgr.nsf database during synchronisation. If these are not signed with the same ID which is listed in the users' ECLs these will fail and generate unexpected requests to approve unauthorised code based actions.
