The administration screen is divided into 6 areas, accessible via the left browser icons:
- Dashboard: Archive Portal dashboard displaying a summary of information.
- Server: Management of the Archive Portal CTServer.exe server (Startup, Configuration, Console, Log, etc.).
- Sites: Management of the databases displayed in the Archive Portal (Publication, LCA, Properties, etc.).
- Activity: Notes database access statistics.
- Directory: Management of Portal users (Access.xml) and Domino identities (Directory.xml).
- Account: Managing the user license and activation key for CTServer.exe.
You can access the administration area of the Archive Portal by clicking on the icon at the top right from the user area. If this icon is not visible, it is because you are connecting with an identity that is not declared as an administrator of the Archive Portal. You can check in the Access.xml file if your identity has Administrator rights:
If not, edit the Access.xml file manually and restart the Archive Portal server (CTServer.exe). You can also ask another Archive Portal administrator to give you Administrator rights by modifying the User entry in the Directory area. In the Portal Users tab, select the User entry and click on the Modify button:
A dialog window is displayed and you can check the IsAdmin box:
You must validate your modification by clicking on the Modify button.
From the administrator area, you can return to the user area by clicking on the icon located at the top right.
